We are always on the lookout for new sponsors for the club. As we go into 2010 it is another new era for the club and we need to keep the funds coming in to be able to keep the club moving forward! Minster CC is the premier club and the only club playing Kent League cricket on the Isle of Sheppey. We are now also the second highst ranked team in Swale due to our promotion to Kent League Division 2 in 2009. We pride ourselves on playing firm but fair and have an excellent friendly atmosphere both on and off the field. We play at The Gilbert Hall Ground, the nicest cricket ground on the island, opposite St George's Primary School. Minster have a Saturday 1st XI in the Shepherd Neame Kent Cricket League Division 2, a 2nd XI in the Kent Feeder League, as well as a Sunday side in the Kent Village League Division 5 and an Under 18 team in The Swale Development League. We also run four youth sides - Under 15, Under 13, Under 11 and Under 9 in the Swale District Development league. Minster 1st team have had an extremely successful era recently and in 2009 achieved their 6th promotion in 7 years!!!

The 2009 season was one of, if not the most successful in the club's 78 year history. The 1st XI, 2nd XI, Sunday XI and Under 18 XI all finished their respective leagues as champions. Along with a Doug Wood Cup Final appearance and an improving junior section 2009 was a memorable season for everyone.

Minster Reveal Overseas Player 2010!

Minster have announced that Aussie Wicketkeeper/batsman, Gareth Whetnall will become their new overseas player for this season. Whetnall also holds an English passport which enables him to play Sunday
